All Purpose Castille Soap Lavender, Laundry: Add 1/3 cup of castille soap and a tablespoon of baking soda for a large load in a normal washing machine. Use half that for HE. Add 1/2 cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle. Toilet bowl cleaner: Predilute 1:4 in a spray bottle. Add 1/2tsp of tea tree oil or lemon essential oil to disinfect. Squirt bowl thoroughly, sprinkle baking soda on the brush, scrub bowl, let sit 10 minutes, and flush. Repeat if necessary. Bathtub and sink cleaner: Mix equal parts of baking soda and castille soap together to make a paste. Scrub surfaces with a sponge using this paste. Rinse with water. This recipe removes soap scum, doesn’t scratch surfaces and makes the porcelain shine! Plant Spray for Aphids: Mix one tbsp of Unscented Castille Soap in a 1L spray bottle with water.
